Situated in the center of LA next to Downtown, Westlake is a culturally diverse community with a distinct neighborhood culture. The area proudly exemplifies its strong Central and South American population ties. Restaurants and shops reflect this. MacArthur Park, another highlight of the neighborhood, is a welcome oasis in the urban environment. Food fare is primarily on the casual side with LA staple, Tommy’s Burgers starting out in the area. Residents frequent local delis and diners. Homes are mainly on the traditional side. There are a multitude of school options as well in the area.
